MIK S. Coop. (https://mik.mondragon.edu/es/inicio ) is the Management Research Center of MONDRAGON Corporation and is attached to the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. It is a mixed non-profit worker cooperative. Its members are its workers (researchers and administrative and service staff) and collaborating companies. The Research Center is accredited as a Sectorial Technological Center of the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Basque Government. MIK has its own R&D&I management system that ensures the excellence of the center's activities, allowing them to be carried out in a coordinated, systematic and coherent way. This system has the 166.002 certification. The Mission of MIK S. Coop. is to be a reference in the field of business management research, through the development of research and collaborative transference with companies and organizations in our environment (Mondragon Corporation, Basque Country, etc.). The objectives of the organization are divided into three main categories: 1. Scientific and research excellence, 2. Specialization with client, and 3. Transference to the market. The capacity for excellent scientific production has been strengthened in recent years with the publication of indexed articles and the defense of doctoral theses. Another important pillar is the transference to the market through the linkage and the ability to add value to companies. All this as a result of a focus on more industrial and experimental research that creates knowledge that companies can apply in a natural and immediate way in their processes. MIK has been consolidating its specialization project with clients, which has allowed it to focus on certain areas of knowledge that will be key in the strategic development of our organization in the coming years.
