Zusammenfassung

Teacher´s sensitive look is fundamental for the children´s well-being. Thus, identifying the key aspects to achieve this sensitive look could be highly meaningful in teacher training. The aim of this work is to identify how teachers' sensitive look is built in Early Childhood Education and what the key elements to achieve this are. With this purpose, 7 teachers' life stories have been studied through biographical interviews and through biographical narrative analyses. It has been shown that each teacher has his/her own look, some teachers are closer to this sensitive look than others. Personal and bodily awareness, the teachers' adaptability to the child and the teachers' well-being, resilience, implication and compromise are key factors to develop a sensitive look.
