Abstract
This article analyzes the concepts of love and violence as they were understood by the nobility of Navarre during the early modernity. It also studies several types of agression among nobles of both genders. In these instances, the use of force, rape or injury is a constant violent presence which motivated in turn different collective, familial, and indivual responses.
