Abstract
The present article will analyzes as the navarrese nobility, in its attempt to consolidate its dominant role in local administration, managed to be identified as an elitist group of power along the Modern Age. For this reason, was designed a new cursus honorum, a public career development standard for all members of the aristocracy, adapted to the new role of the Old Kingdom in the context of the Spanish Monarchy.
