Resumen
The present study aimed at analyzing the schoal-outdoar space quality in lnfant Educatían. The sample consisted of 19 child care centers placed in the area of Gipuz/wa, 1,156 children, aged between 3 and 6, and 51 caregivers. The results obtained using the Preschool Outdoor Environment Measurement Sea/e ( POEMS) índicate that the average quality of the outdnor space could be considered as modernate. The child care centers have an optimal physical space with potential to enable social interactions. However, the outdoor space is not used as a pedagogical resource for development; that is, as a space to maximize learning opportunities. Therefore, the need to reflect on this space as part ofthe currículum and educational project is highlighted.
