Abstract

This article presents the Mondragon-DUAL programme of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. This programme covers a collaborative learning process in a company, research center or research group starting in the second year of the degree and culminating with the FYP (Final Year Project), either in bachelor's or master's degree. This model represents the evolution of more than 60 years of work-study alternation experience which currently means that approximately 70% of students, both Bachelor's and Master's, have work experience prior to graduation, allowing companies to identify talent at an early stage. This article presents the data from the last four years that support the hypothesis that the DUAL programme works as a talent development strategy.
