Abstract

This communication shows a characterisation method for the impact-indentation behaviour of polymeric materialsbased on a fractional elastoviscoplastic contact model. This model is based on the series superposition of a dashpotshowing a fractional law and a non linear spring. The dashpot gives the dissipative character and its superposition inseries the permanent character of the strains. Finally, the spring gives the non linear stiffness based on Hertz theory.Model treatment has been undertaken by fractional calculus. Finally, the mechanical properties of the material havebeen obtained under impact-indentation conditions.
